As countless members of the African Diaspora return home, we understand that there are many factors that impact the overall well being and sustainability of those families on the continent. Building successful future generations starts today and the Alkebulan Development Group has made a commitment to providing structural and productive resources for the City of Alkebulan for the next 100 years.
Our city includes ongoing wellness and community development activities, a variety of open green spaces and many ways to participate in social and cultural entertainment. By maintaining a traditional African atmosphere infused with modern infrastructure and architecture, our city will be the perfect place for any repatriate coming home to lay roots.
Since a community cannot sustain without economics, our Alkebulan Development Group has established and recruited a variety of profitable businesses, investors and job creators to ensure that every adult resident of our city has sustainable economic opportunities. This is the core of our development model.
Alkebulan is located in the Louga Region of Senegal West Africa on the Northern Grande Coast of the country about halfway between the capital Dakar and the former capital city, St. Louis. The land space is nearby to the Lompoul Ecolodge and just up the coastline from the Pink Lake. The site of Alkebulan is steeped in vegetation and groundwater is easily accessible in the area. The city sits about 5 kilometers from pristine beaches.
Our city will be built on the principles of empowered engagement, community collaboration and a holistic approach to food, energy, wellness, education and economic development. Our motto "Building Tomorrow" drives our community to be focused on developing the kind of future we want, today. With much inspiration from the need for "Smart Cities", we seek to apply the same principles throughout our community.
Over the next 100 years our city will continue to focus on long term sustainable growth with considerable resources applied to industries such as tourism, media and export, as well as eco-friendly solutions for energy, waste management and agriculture. Alkebulan's educational institutions will also have a major focus on sustainable skill building and preparing our city's next generation to be the leaders and economic developers of Alkebulan.
